1. The Competition shall be over 36 holes and the player with the lowest scratch aggregate for the two rounds shall be the winner. In the event of a tie a "sudden death" play-off will take place over holes 1 and 18. In the event of a tie the prize vouchers shall be shared.
2.Entrants must be members of recognised Golf Clubs and must be amateur as defined by the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews.
3.The Competition shall be played in accordance with the Rules of Golf and the special rules for play in stroke competitions, as approved by the R & A Golf Club, subject to the local rules of Ralston Golf Club. All disputes shall be referred to Ralston Match Committee whose decision shall be final.
4. Entries must be received NOT LATER THAN MID-DAY MONDAY 1st AUGUST 2011. Entry forms must be signed by the entrant and accompanied by entry fee of £16
5. The ballot for partners and times of starting will be made on Monday 1st August. A time will be allocated as near as possible to the time requested on the competitor's entry form. Competitors will be notified of their starting time and any player not present at the first tee at the time specified shall be scratched from the competition.
6.The competitor will be granted courtesy of the course for practice on Thurs 4th and Friday 5th August.
7. The Rose Bowl Trophy shall remain the property of Ralston Golf Club and be engraved with the winner's name and Club. The winner will receive possession of the trophy for one year by agreement with Ralston Golf Club regarding its safe custody
