A New Deal for Youth Members in 2010

Ralston Golf Club has a proud history of supporting and developing young golfers. We have a strong Junior membership and we are keen to retain Junior and Youth members as they progress in the game, through to the Senior Section. To encourage this progression the Club has decided to introduce changes and new conditions for Youth members with effect from the 2010 season.  These changes will be welcomed by our current Juniors and their families.

 

Currently, when Junior members move to the Youth Section (usually at the AGM after their 18th birthday) they become liable for the Transfer Fee of £960.

From April 2010 Juniors with 5 years membership will be exempted from the transfer fee and will only be due to pay The Youth Subscription currently £360.

Any new Youth member with less than 5 years Junior membership, will have the transfer fee discounted by 20% for every year of membership.

 

Membership of the Youth Section shall be confined to those members transferring from the Junior Section.

 

In addition The Council, at the AGM in March 2010, will present a proposal to change the Youth category criteria from 18-22 years to 18-25 years.

 

The Club are confident that these changes will encourage more young adults to continue their membership of Ralston Golf Club and their commitment to the game.
