The Jessiman Trophy
The Bill Jessiman Trophy is played by 8 man teams in a 4 ball better ball format, counting holes up and holes down, with players being between 6 and 12 handicap.
The clubs competing are all from the north of Glasgow, plus Ralston. The other clubs are -- Balmore, Bearsden, Bishopbriggs, Clober, Cawder, Douglas Park, Dullatur, Hayston, Hilton Park, Kirkintilloch, Lenzie, Milngavie, Palacerigg, Sandyhills, and Windyhill.
Ralston have won the Jessiman on 4 occasions, -- 1992, 1996 , 1999 & 2007.

Ralston v Sandyhills
On Sunday, at Hayston G.C., Kirkintilloch, Ralston comprehensively defeated Sandyhills G.C., in the final of the Jessiman Trophy.
Ralston won by 14 holes, which was a convincing victory, and have now won the trophy more times than any other club, except Cawder.
The Ralston team was -
Garry Milne and Joe Lynch - won by 6 holes
Brian Wright and Gus Johnson - halved match
Colin Downie and Tom Davidson - won by 3 holes
Alan Kelly and Ian McDougal. - won by 5 holes.

Semi Final Saturday 4th September
Balmore v Ralston
Ralston's Jessiman Trophy team stormed into the final of this year's competition with a comprehensive win over Balmore Golf Club, at Balmore.
The Ralston team won by 7 shots, in the holes up format, to confirm their place in the final, to be held, next Sunday, 12 September, at Hayston Golf Club, Kirkintilloch.
2nd Round
The Ralston Jessiman Trophy team produced a fine result yesterday Sunday 20 June, by winning their away tie against Lenzie Golf Club.
This was a difficult match for Ralston, as Lenzie had previously beaten Cawder, who are always a strong team, away from home, in the previous round.
After the first three games, the teams were tied, waiting on the last match, to decide the game. John Cuddihy and Alan Kelly did the business for Ralston, winning their game by three holes, to ease Ralston through to the semi-final.
1st Round
Ralston's Jessiman Team Match,
Sunday 16/05/10, at home to Windyhill G.C., resulted in a convincing win for Ralston.
All four pairs won their matches, and the team won, by a collective score of 15 holes.
Garry Mine and Joe Lynch won by 3 holes.
Brian Wright and Gus Johnston won by 2 holes.
Ian McDougal and Colin Downie won by 3 holes.
John Cuddihy and Alan Kelly won by 7 holes.
Well done to the Jessiman team for a fine start to the new season.
